It describes him as a "moderate face" and avoids calling him a "terrorist"

The infamous report of Efe, controlled by Sánchez, whitewashing the Hamas chief

The socialist Pedro Sánchez is turning Spain into his private estate, colonizing all the institutions within his reach.

Sánchez declares himself the best ally in Europe of one of the main supporters of Hamas
The infamous attitude of the Spanish left with terrorism, and not only with that of ETA

As I pointed out here in March, one of these institutions is the state agency Efe, currently headed by the socialist Miguel Ángel Oliver, who was a PSOE candidate in 2019 and Secretary of State in Sánchez's socialist government. The ideological bias of that agency has been made clear today with its infamous news about the elimination of Ismail Haniyeh, until now head of the terrorist group Hamas, in an attack (surely carried out by Israel) carried out in Tehran.

The elimination of this murderer is great news for the civilized world. Let us remember that Haniyeh was the head of Hamas when that terrorist group perpetrated its attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, whose balance Efe estimates at "1,200 dead and 250 kidnapped", without mentioning the rapes of women committed by Palestinian terrorists, nor the murders of entire families (children and babies included), in what was the worst massacre suffered by the Jewish people since the Holocaust. By the way, Efe calls those killed by Hamas "dead" and only uses the word "murdered" to refer to another Hamas leader, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, eliminated in 2004.

The most astonishing part of Efe's report comes in the title: "Who was Ismail Haniyeh, the moderate and political face of Hamas?" In other words, a state news agency supported by the taxes of all Spaniards (and controlled by Sánchez's government) is disguising as a moderate the head of a terrorist gang that murdered 1,200 people and kidnapped 250 a few months ago. Efe claims that Haniyeh was a "supporter of negotiations with Israel," but omits that the Hamas chief celebrated and cheered the October 7 massacre from Qatar. It also omits that Haniyeh was a fanatic anti-Semite and Holocaust denier.

On the other hand, we must remember that Hamas is on the European Union's list of terrorist groups. However, in its infamous report today, EFE omits any qualification of Hamas as a terrorist organization, referring to this criminal organization as a "movement" and describing its terrorist action as "armed struggle", the euphemism used by the terrorists themselves to whitewash their crimes.

Unfortunately, what happened today with Efe is nothing new. The Spanish left has been whitewashing Palestinian terrorism for many years. Let us remember, without going any further, that in January of this year, the Sánchez government authorized a march called in Madrid by PFLP terrorists. The Spanish socialist government has shown clear hostility towards Israel and now the news agency controlled by that government is engaged in whitewashing Hamas terrorists. More and more reasons are accumulating for Sánchez and his henchmen to be tried in court.
