The result of combining a military exercise with film techniques

The hyperrealistic military and police training offered by a German company

One of the characteristics of real combat is that soldiers are subjected to very high levels of stress.

Military and police exercises aim to accustom their participants not only to the tactical challenges that they will have to face in real combat situations, but also to know how to manage this stress, in order to help reduce one of the frequent effects of real combat: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I have just learned about the existence of a German company, Train R.E.A.L., founded by Martin Goeres, a man with experience in the world of special effects in cinema and who has completed courses in explosive ordnance disposal. This company seeks to offer combat simulation environments for military and police officers that subject them to stressful situations similar to those they will have to face in real situations. Last Saturday, MG Action published a spectacular video that shows how this company understands training:

When I started the video I thought it was a sophisticated airsoft field, but it is nothing like that. From what I have seen on their website, this company is certified for military training with weapons of war and explosives. A curious initiative that has caught my attention. Here are some screenshots from that video.
