Spanish socialists and communists show their support for this dictator

The Spanish left and its support for Maduro: it wants the same thing in Spain as in Venezuela

The left has been presenting itself for decades as the true democrats in Spain and identifying the right with fascism.

The PSOE denounces the “denialism of dictatorships” but supports several of them
El golpe de Sánchez a la Justicia en España es una copia de lo que hizo Chávez en Venezuela

There are many examples that expose this farce, but none as recent as those we are seeing in relation to Venezuela, a sister nation that is experiencing decisive moments for its future. This Latin American country has already been subjugated for more than 20 years to a socialist dictatorship that violates human rights, a dictatorship that has made violence, terror and electoral fraud its ways of maintaining power. Venezuela is a clear showcase of what socialists and communists understand by democracy and freedom.

As has happened before, the Spanish left has come to the support of the dictator Maduro, in order to once again legitimize his electoral fraud, with the socialist José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero at the head, a perverse type who did great harm to Spain during his presidency of the government and who is now dedicated to making a fortune thanks to friends as disgusting as Nicolás Maduro. Let us remember that Zapatero is an influential member of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez's party. Lately he has participated in its rallies and has openly displayed his harmony with the current president of the government.

On the other hand, Sánchez's allies have also come to support Maduro: the Communist Party of Spain, Podemos and Bildu have sent their emissaries to whitewash a new electoral fraud in Venezuela. This is no surprise: they are the same anti-democrats who have been supporting the communist dictatorship in Cuba and other far-left dictatorships. For them, a single-party regime without freedoms or free elections is legitimate if they are the ones in power. They have never believed in democracy, which is why they side with tyrants like Nicolás Maduro.

We must bear this in mind when evaluating what the left really is. Socialists and communists want the same thing for Spain as for Venezuela: oppression, dictatorship and misery. For them, anything goes in politics to satisfy their desires, which include imposing their ideology over our freedoms and clinging to power as if it were ticks. The Spanish right cannot accept a single lesson in democracy from those friends of dictators like Maduro, and it must not forget that true socialism is precisely what Venezuelans have been suffering for decades.
